To ensure legal development and usage of slopelands and to prevent, mitigate and eliminate disasters, it is necessary to enhance the promotion of conservation techniques and concepts and to disseminate relevant laws, regulations, policies and requirements so that the public will be inspired, pay attention to soil and water conservation due to increased understanding and be willing to comply with law. As a result, slopelands will be developed and used in healthy manners. Promotion is regularly conducted by radio broadcast, printed media, promotional materials and meetings. May of each year is selected as the Soil and Water Conservation Month when all kinds of promotional activities are organized and attended by more than 500,000 citizens.
