　　The Soil and Water Conservation Bureau, SWCB, uses new science and technology that takes ecology, life and production into consideration to outline its main services. These main services include reconstructive activities after the Chichi earthquake, watershed conservation and erosion control, slopeland conservation and utilization, monitoring and control, and rural community planning and development.


　　It is the SWCB's goal to help people in Taiwan establish a safe home that is sustainable, environment-friendly, and good quality. Hence, the SWCB continues to provide the following main services:


● Watershed Management and Erosion Control
● Slopeland Conservation and Utilization
● Slopeland Monitoring and Management
● Rural Community Planning and Development
